Geoff Hansplant is an acoustic finger style guitarist and songwriter in the tradition of Reverend Gary Davis, Blind Blake, Jorma Kaukonen and Chris Smither, combining groove centered Piedmont style blues guitar and contemporary lyrics exploring the human condition in the 21st century. This is a "thinking man's" blues. His recent album, "Pilgrim's Progress," is a thirteen song collection focusing on many aspects of the journey of life.
