• Writing songs and playing guitar from age 13 • Played in bands since high school • Saved in 1977 in Catholic Charismatic Renewal group • Wrote first Christian song in late 70’s while in secular band • Dreams fulfilled to play Hartford Civic Center and do TV only after surrendering my music to the Lord • Bassist for Christian band “North Mountain Wind” early 80’s –played the Catholic Lay Celebration at the Hartford Civic Center and regular ministry at Alcoholic/Drug Rehabilitation Center in Hartford • Assistant producer on local cable show “Alive” in late 80’s • Creator and producer of local cable show “At Issue” in early 90’s • Bassist for Christian band “Elijah Project” in 80’s-played at prisons and schools and concerts throughout New England • Bassist/guitarist for Christian band and ministry called Ruach in 90’s-called to expose the performance spirit in many churches in US and Canada • Ordained Worship Leader/Psalmist in April 1999 by international presbytery • Short term ministry trips to India, Italy, Canada and Mexico to teach songwriting and worship • Songs released on 2 worship CDs from the Potter’s House in 2004 and 2005 • Released 1st of 4 Children’s CDs in March 2006 • Currently working on 2nd children’s CD in addition to other worship projects • Served for 10 years as the Coordinator of Worship for the Connecticut House of Prayer • Founded Pureheart Global Ministry in 1997-providing worship for many conferences and gatherings –worship teams put together from a vast pool of seasoned musicians • Led worship with a multicultural team for the Global Day of Prayer in Hartford in 2006 at the Ct Convention Center (4500 in attendance, multi denominational) • Coordinated the 6 ½ day prayer tent for New England 2000 at the Expo Center in Hartford • Bassist for worship team at New England 98 and 99 held in Amherst and Boston • Led worship for New Millennium prayer event at the state Capitol in Hartford 2000 Personal Info * Married 37 years to Elaine (high school sweetheart) *5 children, 5 grandchildren *Grew up in East Hartford *kids raised in Manchester and Farmington *currently reside in Farmington |
